Las Vegas, Nevada

Location: Southwest United States
Best Time to Visit: Year Round, Commonly used for Bachelor/Bachelorette parties
Vegas = Adult Playground.  For all you gamblers out there, this is your vacation spot.  Chances are you’ve already heard of Las Vegas, and with good reason.  It’s well-known for all of the casinos and shows that take place all throughout the city.
Instead of just listing everything you can find on your own on google in under 10 seconds, I’m just going to give you a link for the Las Vegas Strip.  This is a link to a map of everything on the Las Vegas Strip.
But remember, drink and gamble responsibly.

Best Time to Visit: All Year, though summer might not be advisable for people who like staying out of areas that can get ridiculously hot.So, I just couldn’t decide on just one city or area in Egypt to visit, So I just figured I would make a list of all the best things to visit in Egypt.  Besides, who goes to Egypt and just hangs out in one city?  There are just too many sites to see.  Remember to pack a lot of sunscreen though, especially if you’re the “fry like a lobster” type.Things to do:
Pyramids of Giza
The Sphinx
Luxor Temple
Karnak Temple
Valley of the Kings
Any of the Museums in Cairo
Alexandria National Museum
The Red Sea
The Mediterranean Sea
I also found this website that says what areas aren’t good to visit, as well as an extended list of what sites there are in certain areas.

Nashville, Tennessee
Location: United StatesBest time to visit: All YearNashville.  Home to some of the best musicians around these days, especially when it comes to country artists.  Home to Taylor Swift, though all of you TS fans probably already knew that.  Located just a few hours from Memphis, home to Elvis Presley.  So basically, any vacation you take here is good for any music lovers.  But who doesn’t love music?Just like Paris, I could only come up with a list of things to see here, not a specific day-to-day plan.  But that just means you have a lot of choices to make for when you take a vacation here.Things to do in Nashville:
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum
Your choice of Carriage Tours throughout the city (especially in downtown Nashville)
The Grand Ole Opry
Ryman Auditorium Tour
Nashville Zoo (or if you’re going to make the trip to Memphis, the Memphis Zoo is one of the best zoos I’ve ever been too.  There’s a cockatoo at the Memphis Zoo that I fell in love with, so be sure to say Hi for me if you go there)
Belmont Mansion
Margaritaville
Music City Walk of Fame
General Jackson Showboat
As you can see, there’s plenty to do in Nashville, as if anyone expected that there wouldn’t be much to do.  This definitely isn’t everything, either.  But if I were going to Nashville, these are the things I wouldn’t be able to resist seeing.

Denali National Park
Location: AlaskaBest time to visit: Year RoundI seem to be attracted to the national parks these days, but they’re all beautiful and have their own unique attractions.  The wild life, the plants, the trees, just the scenery in general is all different yet amazing.  I don’t think I can write out a six-day plan for yet another national park though because they’re starting to look the same.  The basic idea is to hike and see all the nature.  In my case I would be taking hundreds of pictures along the way.  This park features lakes, mountains, most likely snow for at least half of the year, as well as its own unique roster of animals and flowers.Basically, this is just another idea for a national park to visit for those trying to decide where to go.If you go to Denali National Park, though, there’s a good chance you’ll be near somewhere where you can see a polar bear in its natural habitat rather than in a zoo.  Since us humans have caused them to start losing their home, who knows how much longer they’ll really be around.  See them while you can.  I’d like to say that this would be a good time to start noticing just how big your carbon footprint is.  Becoming green is all the rage these days, and this is one bandwagon that would actually be good for you to jump on.

Manuel Antonio National Park
Location: Costa Rica, Central AmericaPerfect Time to Vacation: All YearThis is the perfect place to mix a beautiful nation park with an even more beautiful beach.  In a way, this is the perfect definition of an “exotic getaway”, as long as you don’t mind the fact that you can’t go to a spa.How I would spend my days:Day 1: Zip Line Tour.  This is something that I’ve always wanted to do.  I’m not too great with heights, but I’d be perfectly willing to make myself get over it to fly through the rain forest.  Just think of all the colorful plants and amazing wildlife you could see from way up in the trees.  Especially the birds.  How cool would it be to see all of the different birds from their eye line?Day 2 and Day 3: Learn to surf.  Where better to learn than the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica?  Even if all I did was fall, at least I could appreciate the warm, clear water and nice white sand.  And who couldn’t use a natural tan these days?  (Sunscreen probably wouldn’t be a bad idea though for those who don’t tan so much as fry like a lobster.)Day 4: Time to take cover back in the trees.  A peaceful hike through the forest sounds like the best way to get over the fact that I couldn’t surf (I honestly doubt I would ever have the coordination needed for the sport).Day 5: Back to the beach for my last day here.  No need to ruin it with surfing though.  I’m just going to spend the day relaxing and enjoying the view.  Maybe a bonfire after dark might be possible.  Roasting some marshmallows and making some smores (just need to remember to bring all of the ingredients with me).

Paris, France
Need I say more?  I saw this photo of the Eiffel Tower, and I just had to add it to my very small collection of vacation getaways.  I honestly don’t believe I would even be able to plan for this trip.  I would just book a hotel for a week, and then spend every single day walking around seeing what I can see. Here’s a list of all of things I would like to see (though I doubt a week would be enough time to really take it all in):
The Eiffel Tower (obviously)
The Louvre
Arc de Triomphe
Notre Dame Cathedral
Chateau de Versailles
Luxembourg Garden
Pretty Much Every French Designer Shop (Louis Vuitton and Armani just to name a couple, though I’m sure I could spend countless hours and way too much money shopping in Paris)
French Restaurants (I don’t know the names, but it really can’t be too hard to find good French food in Paris)
I don’t know about you guys, but there’s no way I could only spend 7 days taking these things in.  A month sounds a little more reasonable… Looks like I need to go out and win the lottery.

Olympic National Park
Location: Washington, United StatesPerfect time to vacation: Almost AnytimeMost people like to vacation at a nation park at least one time in their life, if not just for the beauty of the area, than for the hiking and quietness.  Out in the wilderness, there aren’t many people around, which means peace and quiet, and best of all, no stress.  Nature has its way of calming our systems and bringing us back to a time when our cell phones and laptops weren’t as important as our families.I’ve done some checking up on the Olympic National Park, and it seems to be pretty diverse.  Mountains and forests, plus an area that includes a beach on the Pacific.  With plenty of animals and plants to see and take professional looking photos of (for those who are into that kind of thing), it’s a dream.  Hiking and camping areas are available, along with trails to walk along.  Exercise and fresh air sounds like a good vacation for a lot of people. What I would do here:Day 1: Find a good place to set up camp for the good night.  I would probably choose somewhere near the park service so that I could spend an hour or two talking to the camp rangers about the best sights to see.Day 2: Time to hit the trails and see everything there is to see.  I would be sure to have my camera at the ready to catch the animals in action and to snap photos of all the pretty flowers and vast landscapes.  A major plus: I’d be getting exercise while taking some really great photos. (Something that’s not happening while I’m sitting here typing this)Day 3: Pretty much the same as day 2.Day 4: Pretty much the same as day 3.Day 5: I’ll be catching my plane tomorrow, so for all of you Twilight fans out there, this is the day you’re going to be excited about.  Forks is right on the edge of the park, so taking a trip through town to see the place that inspired the mega hit is definitely on the list.

Location: Florida KeysPerfect time to take vacation: Any time of the yearI thought I would start my blog out with a pretty well-known area that’s a pretty perfect vacation area without having to plan much.  How to get there and hotel reservations are really the only things you need.  This is the place you want to go for a relaxing vacation.  The weather is almost always nice and warm, though it can get a little cold in the winter.  The water is always clear, perfect for scuba diving and snorkeling. Here would be my plan if I were the one taking this vacation:Day 1: Check into my hotel and then just relax.  I either spent a really long time in a car or was on a long plane flight to get here, so there’s no way I’m going to have the energy to really check out the sights yet.  Grab a drink and relax by the pool, or take a walk down to the beach and watch the sunset.  I don’t have to worry much about what I’m going to eat, there are plenty of restaurants around my hotel.Day 2: Spend the day at the beach.  So what if I don’t know how to scuba dive, there’s plenty of things to do without that.  I can either find a place on the beach where there are people, spread my towel and suntan while I people watch or read a book, or I can find a quiet place on the beach where there aren’t as many people and just relax and get some alone time.  That’s why I’m here, to get away from the stressful job and crazy people.Day 3: I can’t go to the Keys and not check out some of the historical sites.  There are plenty of museums to check out, and even a fort or two.  There are even some ghost stories and tours to take.  This day may take a little more planning than the others, but it’ll totally be worth it.Day 4: I didn’t get to see all of the historical sites that I wanted to, so I’m going to continue seeing those today.Day 5: I’m going to spend my last day here relaxing.  I’m going to go to the beach in the morning.  Find somewhere within walking distance of the beach to eat lunch.  After lunch, I’m going to go back to the beach and continue relaxing.  I’m going to ask a couple of the locals what the best restaurant around is and then go there for dinner, then it’s back to the beach to see the beautiful sunset once again.Day 6: I’m going to stop on the beach one last time before getting in my car to drive to the airport or just to drive all the way back home.  I have to say, I’d probably be pretty sorry to leave though.Note: Remember to bring lots of sunscreen.  Who knows what it costs in an area where it’s in high demand.
